First go on the slatmill was all about teaching Atlas the mechanics and building his confidence. While he was unsure of the sensation at first, lots of frequent breaks to remind him he’s in control of the speed paired with praise and play quickly got him pumped up about it!

It took a lot of time, patience, trial and error, and came with some thoughts of defeat.
