We bought this slat mill for our pup because it gets very hot in the summers here (up to 120°) and we wanted him to be able to run year round, even when it's too hot to go outside. All of the materials in this product are very high quality. I like that the slats are all plastic so they don't splinter, and also that they're textured so my pup doesn't slip. I love that it has a hand brake so I can stop the belt manually if I need to, and to make jumping on and off safer. I built it by myself over the course of a few hours, but it definitely would have been easier with two people. The instruction manual was detailed and easy to follow. The only difficult part was making the track meet in the middle to secure it. The finished product looks sleek and professional and runs smoothly. The noise level isn't as high as other slat mills I've seen, but it does still sound like a dog running on hollow plastic. Size wise, my 7 month old German Shepherd is very comfortable running on it, but I would worry with a breed that was much bigger. He was a little timid when he first started using it, but now he sprints like a champ. Honestly I have no complaints about this item and I would recommend it to anyone whose dog needs extra run time.

Living in an apartment with no yard is hard for an active dog. This treadmill lets him get his exercise indoors. Sturdy build, smooth operation, and super easy to store.

We are getting there. 2 are learning, one is quite skittish. Had to brush on a rubber compound to the slats to make them less slippery which helped the 2 that are doing alright to feel more steady. Not yet at full running but I believe that is only days away!

I subscribe to these for both of my large dogs, they love them and have been great for skin, coat and gut health. I’ve noticed occasionally they arrive a little more dry than other times but not to the point they’ve been compromised.

We have a GSP, we live in the upper midwest, she is almost six months old it took about ten minutes for her to get comfortable around the treadmill and my wife sat just in front with our dogs favorite throw dummy and she was off and exercising it is a absolutely god send. Fairly easy to assemble and rock solid. We can't say it enough, with the addition of wheels this treadmill so far is outstanding!

My dog is getting older and it's apparent that too much play is not as easy to recover from. These definitely help when consistently in use. I can tell my dog has an easier time getting past the soreness.
